Kinexis' proprietary technology allows generation of antibody responses that are specific for soluble oligomeric conformations of amyloid proteins involved in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. The technology platform has yielded both vaccine and monoclonal antibody product candidates that exhibit dramatic pharmacological effects in mouse models of Alzheimer's disease, and has been used to design screening assays capable of detecting small molecules targeting oligomeric conformations of alymoid proteins.
