The company is currently focused on developing therapeutic and diagnostic product opportunities based on three proprietary technologies:
  • Prokineticin signaling molecules and receptors involved in multiple physiological processes including circadian rhythm regulation, GI motility, and neurogenesis.
  • Antibodies and vaccines for soluble oligomeric forms of amyloid proteins involved in multiple pathologic states including Alzheimers disease, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), and diabetes.
  • Small molecule antagonists of the melanin concentrating hormone receptor 1 (MCHR1) as potential therapies for obesity and eating disorders. 
Intellectual property and know-how for these programs has been licensed exclusively to Kinexis by the University of California, Irvine.
